USB Devices stop working.
Some USB devices are not compatible with the Power Management of systems. When experiencing difficulty with a device staying connected to your workstation, disable the Power Management features on the Bus that holds that device. This is done through Device Manager, go into Properties of the USB hub where the troubled device is connected. There is a selection called “Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power” - just deselect it.
